Katrin Voltmer: Mediated Transitions in the Digital Age. Public lecture and Lab seminar at LINIS

On April 18, 2013, Dr. Katrin Voltmer spoke at LINIS invitation on "Mediated Transitions and Hybrid Regimes: Democratization in the Digital Age". Dr. Katrin Voltmer is a renowned media researcher from Germany. Today she is the Head  of  the MA Programme in Political Communication at the University of Leeds Institute of Communications Studies. She has carried out several well-known research projects, including those at the Social Science Research Centre, Berlin (1980-1990s). She has authored papers on the variety of democratic media and media policies, including books on media systems in transition democracies, one of which (The Media in Transitional Democracies, published in April 2013) she presented to LINIS as a gift during her lecture.
