The art of texts analysis

Due to the increasing flow of data  produced during the development of the Internet automated text analysis methods presented in the Network are of great interest  for scientists.

A new article by Olessia Koltcova  published in the digest of Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Science «Online-research in Russia 4.0.» is devoted to this problem.

The author considers the stages and mechanisms of such analysis methods as:

·       classification, clustering and topic-modeling

·       sentiment-analysis and opinion mining

·       objects and facts extraction

The author focuses on the ability of using automatic methods of text analysis to reduce the existing methodological and practical divide in the  sphere of social studies.
