Internet and political protests

The wave of protests which swept  through the world in recent years, made the academic  community draw attention to the role of the Internet in protest activity of citizens.

Olesya Koltsova and Eleanor Kirkizh consider this problem in their new article published in the journal “Politiya”.

The authors analyze the factors affecting the emergence of political protest in society and research first of all the previously little-studied cross-country differences.
