LINIS at Social Informatics 2017!

LINIS took a part in 9^th international conference on Social Informatics 2017, which held on September 13-15, 2017 in Oxford Internet Institute (UK). Next year, LINIS will host this conference in St. Petersburg!

SocInfo is an interdisciplinary venue for researchers from Computer Science, Informatics, Social Sciences and Management Sciences to share ideas and opinions, and present original research work on studying the interplay between socially-centric platforms and social phenomena.The report of Olessia Koltsova was devoted to communication in professional online communities (Koltsova O., Koltsov S., Sinyavskaya Yu. (2017) When the Internet really connects through space: the community of software developers on the social networking site Vkontakte).
The Springer series of proceedings were performed, where you can find the full version of the work.
