Olessia Koltsova took a part in annual international conference of AOiR 2017, which took place in Tartu (Estonia) from October 18-21, 2017.

AoIR is the annual conference of the Association of Internet Researchers, a transdisciplinary gathering of scholars interested in the place of networked technologies in social processes.

The topic of Olessia Koltsova's report was the representation of ethnic groups in Russian online media («Finding and Analyzing Judgements on Ethnicity in the Russian language social media», Olessia Koltsova, Sergey Koltcov, Sergei Nikolenko, Svetlana Alexeeva, Oleg Nagorny).
