Project Description: The project represents a study of friendship networks inside communities of the virtual social network "Vkontakte", and their communicative activity.
Purpose of the Research: To identify the connection between the communicative activity of the community members, their centrality in the networks of virtual friendship, and their position in the formal organization of communities. The project investigates the relationship between community communicative activity in general and topological characteristics of a friendship network.
